Hey, I'm back to continue on the next new treatment formula for heat penetration from Tai Yang level to Yang Ming level. In another words, the pathological situation is at: - 1. Yang Ming level
and subsequently to:- 2. Qi
- 3. Ying
- 4. Xue level respectively
The representative treatment formula in Yang Ming level is Bai Hu Tang.
BAI HU TANG
So, this decoction consists of:
- Zhī Mǔ
- Shí Gāo
- Zhì Gān Cǎo
- Jīng Mǐ

Minister's herb
Zhi Mu
As usual, we've to bear in mind the threshold created in the previous blog for the herb selection like what we had discussed.
Association to the Specific Meridian Channel
Zhi Mu is better known as Anemarrhena Asphodeloides in Latin and belongs to the Family of Asparagaceae. It is associated with the:
- Lung
- Stomach
- Kidney - Meridian Channel respectively
Specific Taste
The specific taste of this herb is:
- Zhi Mu - sweet inclined to bitterness
Specific Property
The specific property of Zhi Mu is:
- cold
Big white rice (JING MI)
Apply (Ku Han Qing Re Xie Huo Zi Yin Run Zao) whenever Zhi Mu is used.

New development - Effective application of Zhi Mu when these observations are noted:
- 1) High feverish temperature
- 2) Polydipsis
- 3) Cough with thick phlegm due to overall Yin deficiency
- 4) Mild enuresis due to overall Yin deficiency
