Hey, I'm back to commence on the  remaining herb which is the messenger's herb, Niu Xi.  The  analysis of the Mai Dong had already being done in the earlier blog, please refer to it.

 

Without delay, we shall dive in to analyse Niu Xi which is typically classified into:

  • Huai niu xi and 
  • Chuan niu xi

  1. Achyranthes Bidentata (grow in He Nan and nearby regions)

3) it uses its neutral property to assist the monarch's herb to purge the heat and wetness out of the body.

4) it is widely used in TCM orthopedics especially for treatment on the lower portion of the body fully utilising the downward guiding property.

The reason why Niu Xi is classified into these names in the aforesaid paragraphs mainly because of the suitable cultivated region and only the root is used.

Liver

Hey,  I'm back to commence on the analysis of the  Yu Nu Jian and time passes really fast, you're with me for quite bit and is real great and very encouraging. The Division 4th Officer's herb, Zhi Mu and Mai Dong appeared in this formula.  Just before we go any further, I'll spell out the important points for them collectively as:


All these 2 divisional 4th Officer's has one similar property which is:

  • Penetrate through the accumulated heat and surfacing Them out of the Qi level. 
  • Zhi Mu aids Shi Gao to remove these heat further. 
  • Mai Dong tonifies the stomach Yin by nature and aids Shu Di to invigorate kidneys' Yin deficiency.

  • 2) It uses its cooling property to assist the monarch's herb to purge the heat and wetness out of the body.

which is cold.

Apply (Ku Gan Han Qing Re Xie Huo Zi Yin Run Zaowhenever Zhi Mu is used
